Remember The Terminator big screen series? It depicts the destructive clash between humans and machines. It showed popular muscle man, now Governor of the State of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger, as a machine “disguised” as human, wrecking havoc everywhere he went. The first Terminator catapulted Schwarzenegger to worldwide stardom but his humble beginnings as a world-class body builder got him a good start. This is what he thought of exercise: “The human body has the performance capability of a Ferrari and the durability of a Chevy. No machine was ever designed to compare with this combination of performance and durability.”
Today, there is almost no excuse not to do some kind of movement, some kind of an exercise or weightlifting regimen that would allow bodies to be in constant motion—for the sake of one’s health.More and more people are getting gym memberships and exercise with a crowd. Serious health buffs even take out a fast cash loan to invest on exercise equipment for home use so they could do some sets in their free time. Everyone knows that exercise is any activity or motion of the body that leads to physical fitness and improved well-being. Exercise has a lot of benefits: it strengthens muscles, keeps stamina up, decreases excess weight, boosts the cardiovascular and immune systems, maintains bone density, helps joint flexibility, and raises positive mental health. For instance, instead of stressing over financial problems, people who exercise have a more positive outlook that could lead to creative solutions, such as taking payday advance to work out a cash emergency. Regular exercise is the wall of defense against cardiovascular disease, obesity, diabetes, insomnia, and even depression.
In general, there are three different kinds of exercises which have unique effects on the body. The first type is the anaerobic exercise, such as weight training or functional training. These exercises increase muscle strength.Although this kind of exercises is for short repetitions, not for long periods. The next type is the flexibility or stretching exercise. These exercises enhance the range of the motion of muscles and joints. The third and last type of exercise is the aerobic exercises, such as walking, running, swimming, dancing, and even climbing stairs. These kind of exercise would develop the cardiovascular endurance and blood circulation of people with low energy. With increased stamina and energy, people who do aerobic exercises are likely to have less stress and anxiety.
Once people begin to exercise, it would become a good habit. The famous Greek philosopher, Hippocrates, once wrote, “If we could give every individual the right amount of nourishment and exercise, not too little and not too much, we would have found the safest way to health.”
